A Big, Bright & Bold Styled Shoot

Beautiful Styled Shoot at The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club  – March 2022

The inspiration behind the shoot was to create something that was Big, Bright and Bold and we wanted the photos to be fun and colourful but also elegant.  We wanted to encourage future brides that you can go big bright and bold with colours but it can still be classy.

We began planning in December 2021, starting with key contacts; Annabel Sarah Bridal Shop and Anthony Hall Photography. We quickly found a venue stylist, White Violet, where we exchanged ideas on how we could bring together all the elements I mentioned above, we decided exactly what colours we were going to go with for flowers and stationary and made a decision about the colours of the suits and bridesmaids. This then helped us search for the right vendors to accomplish this.

I was all in favour for finding new start-ups in the local area like myself who were just starting out on their wedding business journey or needed a stronger social media presence where content was concerned so that we could use the experience as a networking opportunity as well as support/ recommendation partners for each other going forward. The teamwork shown in this group of suppliers has been absolutely astounding and we have all gelled really well together and I’m super proud of how it all came together to produce such amazing results.

My favourite shots are the ones of the bridal party having a drink at the bar, and the bridesmaids pushing the couple together to have a cheeky kiss, I’m all up for fun photos that are a bit different from the normal group shots!

As a side story, Hannah and Russ, our bride and groom, are a married couple however they were supposed to have a big wedding back in 2020 but we all know what happened there – it got postponed because of Covid, twice After getting there hopes up one too many times, Hannah and Russ decided to tie the know anyway in a registry office and hoped to one day have their big party at another time. However circumstances changed and they never managed to have their big day.

When the opportunity arose to be the models for this styled shoot they jumped at the chance so that they could say their vows and get some photos of themselves in wedding attire. So even though it’s a styled shoot, there was a real love story behind it and it’s safe to say that we all treated the day like it was a real wedding, with the upmost care and focus. Hannah and Russ tell me that they have has some happy tears on receiving the photos and video.
